My '84 240 Turbo has 257k miles on it, only the last 8k or so by me. It started eating coolant, so I pulled the head to replace the gasket. Turns out the head has some pretty good cracks in it. I plan to change the head, but as I was disassembling it, I noticed a lot of oil in the tube from the turbo to the throttle body. Is this normal? A cause for alarm? I haven't noticed any excessive oil consumption with the car. Forget it a put in the Chevy small block engine I have lying around? I would prefer to fix the stock engine, but don't want to go crazy with the expense. It's a nice car, but........
