AC hose type 200 85

Can anybody tell me if Volvo uses the barrier type AC hoses in 1985? I have come to understand these hoses began to come into use during the mid-1980's

I am rebuilding a system fro an '85 and may be using an alternative refrigerant, like Autofrost. Or, I may just retro with 134a.
