Sounds like fuel pressure regulator to me too. A fuel pressure test is in order but if you remove the vac hose that goes to the f.p. reg. and fuel comes out , that is the problem. The fuel pump usually makes a winding up noise if pressure gets too high, also. Storage is a factor that tecn needs to know about.
