Can I Move My Oxygen Sensor? 200 1992

I finally found a muffler shop that's willing to do the exhaust work I've always wanted on my 92 245. I'll be replacing everything from the header connection back with 2.25 or 2.5 inch aluminized tubing, a free flow catalytic and a racing muffler (probably powerflow). Finding a replacement catalytic has been a little tough as most free flow models don't have the mounting for an oxygen sensor.

Has anyone here moved their oxygen sensor to the connection on the header? I replaced my old header with one from a wrecked 740 and it appears to have a fitting for a sensor already installed (plugged). My sensor is a three wire sensor, so I'm guessing that the integral heater would make it a little less sensitive for mounting?

Thanks everyone, hoping to squeeze a few more ponies out of my swedish iron.
