Crash!!! 700 1991

My wife and I just became the second owers or a perfect 740...19 days later she rear-ends some one. The right fender light assm. and bumper cover are ruined. I need to know if it is possible to "pull-out" the 'shock' that absorbs this type of impact. Only the right side "bumper-shock" is pressed in.
