Brake lights don't work!!!! 700 1990

On my 1990 740 Sedan the third brake light works, but the panel/sequential brake lights do not!? All the bulbs have been replaced and connections seem OK, but to no avail...What do you guys think?!?

Any suggestions of where to begin to fix?? Mike
