Painting chrome trim around windows....HOW??? 700 1988

Hey all,

Taking on a new project now (i have about 3 or 4 currently in progress, what's another one?).......I want to have "black" continuous looking windows, which means painting the chrome strips.....I am quite good (very) with a automotive spray paint tin, so i can paint them at home, what i want to know, is how to prepare them, is there anything special to do to make the paint stick?? Or is there a special paint? Thanks in advance all,
