Seeking help! Lumbar support broken. 700 1992

I have a '92 740 wagon that has, or had, the most comfortable seats I've ever experienced. I broke the tightener on the lumbar support (the knob screws in and stops; the white plastic that the knob screws in to is broken). Can I fix this? How do I take off uphostery w/o ripping it apart? Thanks!
