Parking Brake Cable Replacement 700 87

Time to replace parking brake cables. Tried some from a Parts Supply, they were not right. Tried the Dealer, they say they have been updated. The cost from the Dealer is very expensive; includes both cables as well as some adjusters and expander, $176 Cdn for parts only (these must be gold plated cables). I am doing the work myself. O U C H ! ! !

Being the Typical Thrifty Volvo Owner, I need some ideas which are more economical.
