Hinky Power Seat 900 93

Hi All,

Recently aquired a low mileage 940. Nice car!! However, I'm not sure if I like these new fangled power seats (drivers side). It's started acting up. i.e. just after starting the car it jerks (twitches?) for a minute or so then does so intermittently throughout the drive. Might do it more when leaning left? It's my wifes car so I don't drive it enough to know all the symptoms well. Also, when trying to push the seat further back it only moves in small increments and rather jerky at that. Had the car to a local volvo specialist for a major tune up etc. and he checked it out but could find nothing wrong. No codes etc. Any suggestions where to look?

As always your time and advice is greatly appreciated.
