I have found a power seat in a car at the local junkyard. The problem is that the seat is slid back in the tracks so I can't get a socket over the bolts in the rear track. I did not try, but it sure looks like I won't have room to get a box end wrench over the bolt either.
When I pulled the manual seats in my old 245, it was a simple task to slide the seat back, take out the front bolts, slide the seat forward, take out the rear bolts. But with no power I can't do this to the car in the junkyard.
tossing a battery in the car and trying to power it back is probably not an option. It appears that an engine fire ended this cars life, all the underhood wiring is gone.
Any ideas?
