How do you like your V70? S90-V90 98

Our '89 760 Wagon, is nearing its end of life. (180K miles) We are looking at the Honda Odysee and V70 wagon, and trying to decide. We have had 3 Volvos, and are torn, with 3 kids the mini van has a lot of appeal. Can any tell me how they like their V70? How is it at moving people? Maintenance? Safety?
