Trans replacement! 900 1991

Thankyou all,

Your prompt responses were extremely appreciated!! The dealer replaced the trans. today with a AW-70 and mine was a AW-71. Should I expect to see some

differences in the operation of this trans. opposed to the Aw-71 or are they pretty much interchangeable? It seems to shift fine other than the shifts appear to run into a bit more RPM and the it's sensitive to starting in neutral; otherwise, I think it may be OK! Also, would anyone know where I can obtain a 91' 940 manual; I went to the library and auto parts stores; the books I've seen are pretty general encompassing several years grouped together? I'd like to get more involved in the maintenance of this car and continue to learn and become more informed by all your great posts; hopefully, one day I'll be able to contribute as well. Thanks again for all your help!!!
