I found three wires off under the dash of my car. One is part of a bunch of other dash wires in a black sheathed bundle about an inch in diameter in back of the main instrument panel (speedometer/odometer/clock). I saw about two or three black rubber or taped tubes of bundles of wires. It is a small diameter red and white with a common push on aluminum connector. It is visually overwhelming trying to decipher what is what. Beyond me. I wondering if that wire might just be there for an option that the original owner did not opt for? Everything seems to be working. But I wonder if maybe something is not working and I just thing it is. Like maybe an important instrument panel light that has never activated because there has not been any problem to cause it to. I did not see any numbers or markings on it to help me to trace it. Hence my question.

I found the other two wires under the drivers side rug and on top of the black rubber mat. I know they are supposed to go somewhere because I had my drivers side rug out before and they were never there. They are both black and bound together in a black tube that runs under the aluminum plate along the side panel area next to the door, and then back toward the rear seat somewhere. I did not follow it to its end yet. It got late last night and I decided to quit working on it. I was actually doing something else when I discovered it loose and was not able to figure it out. The one wire is the size of a cable with an aluminum end cap and pin/post antenna type connector on it. The other wire is a smaller diameter and the end has a clear plastic box connector on it, covering the wire end that houses a male connector inside it (just a simple connector with protective plastic cover). I looked at the back of my radio with a mirror and flashlight from the top of the dash, where the is a vented grill of sorts. There does seem to be a possible place for the antenna connector looking cable end, and there is a connector there with a plastic end also. But something about it does not seem right. I'm not sure where this darn thing goes. My car's antenna is in place so it is not that. Anyone know where this wire cable might belong.

Last question. The center of the top of the dash has a rectangular grill vent. When I remove it, there is an oval hole there for what seems to be a speaker. But I have no speaker there. Am I supposed to have a speaker there?
