Inner fenders - same on 140 and 160? 140-160 70

Are the inner fenders (that is, the sheet metal that projects out from the main body tub) the same on a 1970 142 and a 1975 164?

If not, why not?

(I have two 140s and one 164e sitting around, but they aren't sitting in the same place so I can check this side-by-side. Go figure.)
