90' 245 dies on first cold start. 200 1990

My 1990 240 DL automatic wagon almost always dies immediately upon a cold start, then restarts and runs no problem. Is this likely a fuel problem? Can hear fuel pump and tranfer pump working. Not sure about check pumps check valves. Where can I get a main pump replacement check valve?
