Replace rear end gears? 120-130 1967

I want 'longer legs' on my '67 122 Amazon to make it more comfortable for highway driving. The motor was rebuilt about 6K ago. Rather than converting to an OD transmission from an 1800 and shortening the drive shaft, can I change the gear cluster in the rear end?

My Specs:

B18D engine, M40 gear box,and Spicer rear axel

The Spicer casing is stamped: 30 C32908 and

the tag is stamped: 41-9 4.56

It might have posi-traction because both rear wheels spin in loose gravel, but not sure.

Spicer is a common rear axel. Anything from a Ford/Chev/Dodge/MG/Rover (tossing out thoughts here) that is interchangeable?

I want to do one or the other this winter.
