18 in, 42 mm offset, will it fit 700 1987

I have a chance to buy 18 in panther wheels with tires. They are 42 mm offset. They are 5 lug 108 mm bolt patern. I know the bolt patern will fit, but will the 42 mm offset fit my stock suspension 780? I need a response quickly. tia
