Greetings all, from sunny Cleveland: Doing some work on the California Special today, in a frantic attempt to get it on the road before the weather starts to change, and finally got the engine, carbs, clutch master, valve lash, thermostat, and all the rest in order. Now, all I have to do is wait for the fuel tank to return from the radiator shop, after its boil out, and I'll be ready to fire that thang up. By the by, has anyone had any luck cleaning out their own fuel tank? My tank was in pristine shape, but had about 1/2" of black goo in the bottom...that's after I emptied about 6 gallons of old fuel. What a mess! Anyway, I digress....So I'm looking at the interior, and take a peek under the dash, and I see the clear plastic hose and the 'T' fitting that goes to the washer nozzles.....but nothing else. So the question is where is the tank for the washer fluid and the pump supposed to go? I'm assuming it's electric and not one of those rubber-bulb-on-the-floor deals that my '68 Dodge Dart had.....what a hoot! And if electric, what color wire hooks up to the pump and where's the switch? Man do I have a lot to learn. And again, Merci.
