the headlights on my 78 242 are not through the ignition switch.
On my 87 245, when the ignition switch is turned off, the headlights go off.
What is involved in having the headlights on the 78 242 routed throught the ignition switch so that I do not leave the headlights on any more.
I am tired of the 78's delayed headlight system... when the battery goes dead - the headlights go out...
Is it as simple as running the headlight wire from a non-ignition fuse to an ignition controlled fuse of the same amperage?
Or are there other concerns due to the higher voltage required by the headlights??
What about wiring in an "ignition off - headlight on" warning buzzer.
I hate those things, but it is better than dead cells...
Thanks in advance
