Just in: Catalytic convertor charged with power robbery 200 1983

Since my car was running really really rich for over a week (see my CTS unplugged post), I think I may have plugged my cat. I'm not certain of this of course, since I've never done a diagnostic on a cat before. Is there any way to be sure my cat is gone? Is it possible that my cat could be gone after a weeks worth of excess fuel? If so, how much power could it be robbing my engine right now? I've got a K cam and 2.25" exhaust, and this should have moved my HP peak beyond the 6,000rpm redline, but it seems my car runs out of steam a bit past 5,000. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks a lot for the advice, I appreciate it.
