Matters various 900 1992

Please help.

1. Does anyone know where in the U.K. or otherwise I can purchase Volvo tool no 5284 to remove crankshaft pulley nut for drivebelt replacement? Volvo dealers do not want to sell me one!

2. I am using Castrol GTX Advanced 10-40 and changing every 3000 miles with new Volvo filter. Is this ok and is this oil semi-synthetic?

3. After starting up in the morning I get a rattling from the engine which is either piston slap or little ends. Is this usual? It goes away after a few hundred metres and never recurs until the next morning. The engine runs very sweetly and quietly after that and I get over 30 m.p.g. overall.

I have had the car, 1992 940 GLE Estate 230FB normally aspirated engine manual transmission, for a year and 16000 miles with just normal replacements and it has done 74000 miles overall with a full service history. I am doing all my own servicing from now.
