Slotted and/or Cross Drilled rotors 900 1992

I have been looking for a better rotor for my 92 964. I have found cross drilled rotors for $200 for 4, or $250 for 4 if they are slotted as well. What makes slotted rotors an extra $50? Would I receive better performace from the slotted rotors versus just the cross drilled ones?
