Intermittent directionals, horn, and wipers..... 120-130 '65

I'm having problems with my signals working, then not working. I switched out the flasher last weekend with a new one and it didn't work so I put the old one back in (It's real slow when it does work.) Now, the old one starts working again. Fuses are ok and I cleaned the contacts. Should I be looking for a short somewhere? Horn and wipers are also on this on again-off again plan, lucky I'm in LA so rarely any rain...but I could stand to use the horn and especially the signals (since no one else does.) Any suggestions?
