bad hot start twice a month 700 89-90

have 1990 740 with regina fuel system rex 1 ignition. customer complains

that after 20 minute run (usually hot weather) car restarts and runs

like poo. have fuel pressure gauge on, 32 psi idle, 30 psi on decel, 41

psi full load. O2 sensor voltage through lambda correct and on full load

1. volt. looks correct so far. noticed once on warm restart that car

seemed to run extremely lean, but I didn't get a chance to check O2 with

a gas analyzer before the symptom went away. did notice fuel pressure

was at 40, but had no vacuum gauge on intake manifold to see if I was

low vacuum. I was hoping to read a code through the diagnostics socket

off the ECM but no luck. 2300 ohms @ 12 c 194 ohms @ 92c on coolant temp sensor. any techs, your help would be greatly appreciated. this

has been going on for a couple of years now. a fuel pump was installed

last year by another shop, but did not fix the problem. thanks in

advance.
