Dirty Fuel? 700 1987

Please help, I am having problems with my 740. It has a problem of idling after leaving the car overnight/extended hours. The problem got so bad that I took it to our local Volvo specialist (whom I trust). It came back with a cleaned throttle body and also throttle swiitch. Started o.k. next day but started to lose power when the car warmed up.

This was now starting to become enoying. Mechanic had it for a couple of days to check how it started when left o/night and thus deemed to require a new throttle switch. Still idles very roughly for a couple of minutes. Car must be left in "park" or will stall immediatley.

But once the motor warms up it runs like an absoulte dream. The only thing I can think of is maybe I have had a bad load of fuel that has blocked the injectors. Please Please Help.....

P.S. My other non Volvo car seems to be running rougher and gets refuelled at the same place the Volvo does.
