I have a 1994 940 with about 78,000 miles on it and recently had the knock sensor replaced because the Check Engine lamp came on. The mechanic said the knock sensor was marginal and he recommended that it be replaced. After about a month the check engine lamp came on again. My question is: How does one reset the check engine lamp? Can it be done without some kind of diagnostic tool, or can one of the pins on the service connector be grounded or supplied with 12 volts? AAny help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Ron
