Help! No brake lights! 200 1987

After sitting for about 20 minutes at the drive-thru at the bank, I noticed upon returning home that my brake lights were out. I checked the fuse (it has blown out before) but it was good. Same for the light bulbs. Could the brake failure module cause this problem?
