cam seal stuck..fixed..leaking again! 900 91

A couple of weeks back I reported my trials with a cam seal that was fairly reluctant to leave it's home. After some effort I got it out, got evertyhing cleaned real nice, inspected for scratches/damage and using the Volvo tool inserted a new Volvo brand seal (the inner spring came part-way out but I ran my finger round the edge and it fell back into place). I incorrectly thought that the Volvo seal and the old seal were very different. There are differences but minor. In any event the day following the completion, I drove to Cape May and everything seemed fine. Now, 2 1/2 weeks later I am seeing more and more oil leakage from the same location every day. The vacuum lines to the flame trap are clear, the breather box new (last January), the jiggle test passes with flying colors (really sucks the cap down tight), and the intercooler is clear. Sometimes it looks like it is not leaking and other times it looks like a torrant of oil is coming from there. What now? Are there other vacuum paths that could be intermittent? Did I screw the seal up? This makes at least the second seal in 9 months. Help!
