Shake from rear end under hard accel. 700 1988

The guy w/the center bearing question got me wondering....

I have a '88 760 TI, and a '91 940 SE, under very hard acceleration I get a shake from the rear of the car, again, only onder full acc from a dead stop. Is it susp, or a problem w/ the rear end (IRS)..... thanks in advance
