$1.179/gallon - no shortage in Bartlesville! 120-130 1966

I filled up my 122 wagon today at the intersection of US 60 and US 75

(center of the US, since 60 is roughly Norfolk to LA and 75 is Galveston

to Winnipeg) and it cost me $10.30. Seems like a good time to travel,

nice weather, etc.

Lord willing, I'll be off tomorrow to Guthrie again for the Oklahoma

International Bluegrass Festival. In addition to top bluegrass bands

from the US they also will be having bands from Japan, Canada,

Switzerland, Holland and Czechoslovakia (Not sure whether Czech Republic

or Slovakia) Anyway it looks like an interesting festival. I hope to

borrow my grandson's sleeping bag and plan to sleep in the back of the

122 wagon with my upright bass. If I am able to drive back, I'll be

back in touch Sunday. (Last time I didn't have the sleeping bag and

was so stiff it took me 20 minutes to get my shoes on so I could make

a midnight trip - Temp was about 40°F which probably contributed)
