Instrument switch lighting 900 1991

Hi: Has anyone had this problem? The background lighting for numerous switches on my 91 940 SE Wagon don't work. I checked several & found good bulbs & power at the sockets. The list is; HTR controls, sunroof, hazard,rear defroster,clock setting sw., antennae, power windows, gear selector & fog lights.
