Hello,
I do not have a service manual or owners manual, and I did the following:
Rotated distributor an unknown number of degrees.
Changed points gap to distributor shaft an unknown amount.
I made an effort to make marks so I could reset everything but for several reasons my marks are no longer visible or not accurate enough. Now there is white smoke coming out my tailpipe, and if I blip the throttle what appears to be gas, or unburnt gas, drips out the tailpipe.
I have:
Stroboscopic timing light (inductive)
Knowledge of whereabouts of timing marks on crankshaft pully
Dwell-tacho-points resisitance-o-meter
Could someone tell me what the points gap should be, and what the timing should be?
Also, someone changed out the distributor for a bosch one. Its not the original..
Thanks
Asa
