Zimmerman Cross Drilled Rotors??? 200 84

I just bought some zimmerman cross drilled rotors for my 84 turbo, sort of against the advice of the board. What is the problem with these things? The zimmerman rotor is highly recommended among BMW enthusiasts, so why wouldn't it be good for a brick? I paid about $240 on ebay for all four, and theycam with mintex pads. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas.
