turbo behavior 200 83glti

Hey guys,

On my 242 glt rebuild,I was lucky to find a turbocharger that spun freely w/no play and have been running fine. Now I see some oil leaking out(not much),of the center housing seam of the turbo.

Performancewise,Here lately I find that while cruising if I barely give it some gas the boost comes up quickly and into the yellow about 1/5,just barely givin it gas.Much easier than before when I had to work to get into boost. It seems also that I will cruise more in boost, about 1/2 in the yellow. What happened?I noticed that even with syn change less than 3000k ago the oil was quite dirty. After change still same "boost cruising".

Thanks

RR
