Pulled my '83 diesel motor out and am doing a B23 conversion. The motor ran but not well, smoked a lot. There was no power after second gear and we determined that the compression was too low for our taste. I have documentation here that shows the compression around 380 across the board. Cylinders 4,5,and 6 were the problem cylinders.

The pulled motor is a D24 6cyl. It has low compression, most parts, pumps (diesel injection pump, a/c), and goodies included. I'm in the Seattle area, will consider delivery in Western Washington. The motor itself is in Oak Harbor. This motor would be great for parts considering the cost of new injectors, diesel injector pump, manifolds, head, and anything else you may need that is generally hard to find. Make an offer.
