So I bought this '84 242T along with my friend, I'm 16 and he's 17...we take it to shop to get inspected.. needs a new front-passenger strut cartidge. We bought the car to learn how to fix and fool around with cars, so we decide to replace it ourselves, with the help of our handy-dandy-crappy haynes manual. Everything is going fine, except we cant find an offset box wrench to hold that nut on top of the strut. I've searched every place in town, with no luck... the car has been in the garage on jackstands for almost 3 weeks now and my parents are getting VERY upset. Does anyone have any insight on where i might find this tool? none of the offset ones i can find have a steep enough angle to fit.
Thanks,
-Drew
PS- my 2nd plan was just to take the whole strut assembly out and take it to meineke along with the replacement cartridge and have them do it... but then i cant figure out how the hell the brake lines detach, they dont seem to come apart at that particular section of the assembly...
