winter is coming need my old grey mare to run 200 1981

hello all

my 245 has been sitting since spring

and now its time to put away my thing (1974 type 181)and

run a car with a roof and heater.

cos its cold in calgary now.

anyways something went bad on my 245 last spring

some thing to do with the tranny

it doesnt go foreward

it doesnt go reverse

but the revs move up and down as usual with the foot feed

any simple checks to do before i give my car to the tranny

guys?????
