air filter thermostat 700 1989

I am ck'ing the car over before winter and wonder at what temperature the air box thermostat should hold the shutter closed to hot air coming off the ex manifold and what temp should it be fully open to the hot air? Mine seems to be about half way between the two positions with 60 degree F.
