Power steering retrofit 140-160 71

I recently found a complete power steering unit off a running car for my '71 142.

Has anyone ever done such a Power steering retrofit???

Looks like the steering shaft may be different where it meets the top of the steering box. The p/s unit came with a ujoint type of connector still attached to it where the lower steering shaft would normally clamp. so perhaps it is not perfectly in line???

Any tips much appreciated.

BTW I did NOT get to remove the unit myself so I am somewhat in the dark.
