Still Get a Clunk after new ball joints 200 1988

I still get a clunk in the front suspension when I hit a pothole even after replacing both lower ball joints. Where should I look for the source of the noise? Does the top of the strut tower have a part that wears and produces the clunk? Thanks for your help.
