saw another new overdrive question but here's mine:
(86 240) car drives normal when o.d. engaged but starts to have problems - lose power, studder, no acceleration, etc - only after coming out of it.
(i do disengage clutch before hittin' the button to downshift)
Sometimes the problem lasts for seconds and "normal" power/accel. comes back briefly before more studdering. Other times i have to pull over on freeway it so bad and somehow it "resets" itself and i can continue.
It does sound like fuel delivery / injection would be an area to explore if it weren't for the fact that it is only doing it when o.d. is used for any length. For a week after occurance I only went to 4th gear and forgot I even had the problem...... the problem also is shops are going to have a hard time replicating this....any suggestions?
