Please forgive my ignorance. I'm about to put a new fuel sender and pre-pump in my car. I'm looking at the parts and... well...that's a whole lot of exposed electrical connections and wires to be immersed in gasoline. How can this be safe? I know it's not a problem, but can someone tell me why?
