aw-71 tranny problems 200 1983

Hello brickboard!

I got this '83 244 GLT with the aw-71 tranny. It only shifts well when car has warmed-up, altough it seems to lack the speed on a manual. I have already replaced all the tranny fluid, but i have not done any other adjustments. Any ideas?

I will appreciate any replies!
