'90 760 Cassette Deck Lights ? 700 1990

On the cassette deck on a 1990 760 are the buttons supposed to light up when the headlamps are on? I would think so. There would have to be more than one bulb that is burned out or power is not getting to the lamps. Has anyone out there had to repair this circuit or replace the bulbs before? I do not have a wiring diagram for the stereo system. I have all the other diagrams for the 760 but not this one. If anyone can supply any insight to this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
