It looks like I may need to find a new D24 engine for my ol' fliver. If anyone has suggestions, I need to hear 'em. (I don't need to hear "put a gas engine in it", please! For years I've taken a lot of good-natured ribbing on the Board about my diesel, which has been fine, but it won't be very funny 'bout now, since our circumstances won't permit much of an expenditure.) I like my car just like it is, except with a running (diesel) engine.

Also, does anyone know how much this block can be bored out? That may be an option, since #1 cylinder is rusted from having water in it, but the rest of them are fine.

Any serious suggestions/information will be appreciated. Thanks--
