small clock wiring 200 92

OK, got a small clock from e-Bay, but without wiring (already swapped in the big tach to replace the Big Ben-sized OEM clock). The Haynes manual electrical diagrams are as clear as mud... what's the easiest/best way to wire up the small clock & its lamp? I've found references here in the BB archives about wiring to the large tach but I am unclear. Someone set me straight?
