coolant change 200 1988

Can anyone give me some suggestions on changing the coolant in an 88' 240DL with the B230F motor. I am planning on replacing the normal blue/green coolant with Halvoline Dexcool. I read some messages in the archives, but am not quite sure if there is much else to do besides drain the radiator via the bottom hose and the block via the drain valve. Is there a valve to release air? Where is the block drain plug? Is there anything else I should know before I begin? Thank you for any info.
