I just got super lucky at the salvage yards again.

I found a whole car's worth of perfect molded carpets

for my 164. They are untorn and only slightly stained.

Does anyone have any suggestions on cleaning them?

I was thinking of throwing the carpets into an industrial

cloths washing machine (a front loading type deal) and

using cold water and not much detergent.

The carpets are the correct color and it even had

the correct volvo floor mats. Whoopee! (and no, I haven't

got the new dashboard installed yet -- I may wait until

I get the air conditioner repaired first)
