OD light question. 200 1990

1990 240, AW-70 trans.

Fluid is new. Relay is good, I can hear the click and it was resoldered last year. Solenoid is good (as far as I can tell) it passes the bench test for resistence. Havent blown compressed air through it.

The one thing that aint right is the dash bulb is burnt out. My hazy memory suggests (and the archives seem to verify) that it is needed to complete the curcuit on cars with the M46. Is this also true for AW-70 cars?

If I replace the bulb and nothing happens, what then?
